Aerial rope and silks classes in Glasgow

Two vertical apparatus you climb, wrap into and drop from — and a beginner-friendly class on each to start this week.

Aerial rope and aerial silks are sister apparatus. Rope (corde lisse) is a single soft rope; silks (sometimes called tissu) is two lengths of fabric. On both, you climb, wrap into the material and drop from it — and both build real, usable strength as you go. You do not need to be strong or experienced to start. You get strong by doing it, and our instructors take complete beginners through every wrap and climb safely.

Pick your apparatus below — or try both and find your favourite.

Aerial Rope

Aerial Rope — Tuesdays, 7:00pm, with Nea Kunnari. One soft rope you climb cleanly, wrap securely and drop from with control. An open-level class: beginners are welcome and improvers get pushed too. It is one of the most dramatic things you can do in the air.

Book Aerial Rope — Tue 7pm

Aerial Silks

Silks looks impossible and feels incredible. Two classes, so there is one at your level:

New to silks? Start here — Open Level Silks, Sundays, 4:00pm. A mixed-ability class where beginners and improvers train side by side. This is the one to book if you have never touched a silk.

Already training? — Aerial Silks Intermediate, Wednesdays, 7:00pm, with Nea Kunnari. For students with silks experience who want to push into more advanced work.
