Tamzen is highly skilled in both acrobatic and aerial disciplines. She will be running three workshops here at Aerial Edge:
Handbalancing (Intermediate & Advanced) Saturday March 16th – 11.00 – 12.30pm
Tamzen will work with students in a variety of different ways including conditioning for specific handstand techniques used in the session (these will vary on the level on participants).
Students will also work on balance with specific focus on entry to and exit from the handstand. Not only this but they will explore transitions whilst upside down, techniques to help stabilise whilst inverted and different shapes to balance in.
Dependent on level some students may also look at one arm shapes or one arm preparations.
Rope / Corde Lisse (Intermediate) Saturday March 16th – 1.00 – 2.30pm
This intermediate focused workshop with Tamzen will work on developing your own style of rope work. In this session, you will be using and learning dynamics whilst on the rope and being taught specific movement techniques that can help you find your specific style.
You will also work on and prepare for techniques such as roll ups, rolling loops and beats.
Rope / Corde Lisse (Advanced) Sunday March 17th – 1.00 – 2.30pm
In this session, you will focus on using dynamics whilst on the rope towards creating beautiful and jaw-dropping sequences that you can further work towards a full choreographed sequence or routine.
Tamzen will also work with students on a range of dynamic movements including helping you perfect your beat swings and open drops.
