Today is the final day of our 2017 Brazil Circus Holiday and as I write, the rest of the group are boarding their separate flights either home to the UK or onwards to experience Carnival in Rio and other new adventures. It’s been a busy three weeks and I’ve been constantly impressed by how much our group have managed to fit in during this short time here
After a week of adventuring through sunny beaches and flying trapeze classes it seems like a good moment to pause and reflect on of our trip so far.
Every year we pack up all of our equipment for a week and head through to the University of Edinburgh gymnasiums where we host the world’s largest Aerial and Convention. Every year it gets bigger and bigger with 2016 being no exception with nearly 400 workshops on offer across the weekend!
In February 2016 we travelled with a group of 6 Aerial Edge staff and students to spend 3 weeks training on the incredible Brazilian island of Florianopolis.
After nearly a decade of using running classes in The Lansdowne Church/ Websters Theatre, we are now leaving the venue. We wish Websters all the best with their new venture!
