Vacancy: Marketing and Reception Assistant

Aerial Edge is hiring! We are looking for someone with first class communication skills to be the first point of contact for customers in our busy Circus School in the heart of Glasgow’s city centre.

Based at our reception desk, you will be responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to our customers at all times. From responding to customer emails to creating engaging social media copy, you will communicate with our customers on a number of channels, including greeting them at the venue in person.

Working with the events and marketing managers you will also be responsible for creating and delivering campaigns that promote our activities to a wide ranging audience. From writing social media posts to website blog articles and email newsletter campaigns, you should be confident communicating with customers across a range of digital platforms and have demonstrable marketing experience.

You must able to take initiative, work autonomously, effectively prioritise tasks and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.

You should have an excellent knowledge of circus arts and Glasgow’s culture and leisure sectors.

We want to hear from you if:
You are passionate about delivering excellent customer service and you have at least two years experience in a customer facing role.
You have experience in working with social media, and other digital platforms (e.g wordpress, mailchimp, facebook, instagram).
You have an eye for detail and design including photography and videography skills.
You have experience running at least one marketing campaign.

About the role: duties will be split between marketing activities (daytime) and reception (evening).
