Circus Fitness & Flexibility

Circus Fitness & Flexibility

Our circus fitness and flexibility classes are designed to be a fun way to get fit, in addition they are a great way to get an introduction to the world of circus arts.

Classes are suitable for all levels of ability and gives a solid foundation across acrobatic and aerial circus arts providing conditioning exercises for strength, endurance and flexibility. It’s basically a relaxed gym class but with the added flair of circus!

Throughout the week we vary the intensity to encourage physical development. Our Hardcore Circus Fitness classes are a little more intense but are still suitable for all, putting all 4 classes together in the week is the ideal way to build a great base of circus skills, increase strength, stamina and flexibility.

Meditation & Taiji

Meditation & Taiji

Meditation is an essential skill in dealing with the stresses and challenges of today’s world. If you’ve found it difficult or challenging join Mark in learning in a way that will develop focus and attention easily over time.

Mark has been training and teaching tai chi for 32 years and is an international gold medal competition winner. Mark regards daily practice in meditation and tai Chi a foundation practice for developing skill in circus and enabling longevity in circus training.

Come and chill out and built new mental and physical skills.

Yoga for Circus

Yoga for Circus

Whether you want to master the graceful art of silks, get to grips with some cool moves on Trapeze or ace your backflip. Then developing strength proprioception and flexibility will seriously advance your training ability.

This is a led session which will work with people of all levels and abilities. Suzi is an international circus performer and yoga teacher based in Sydney Australia

If being stuck in physical isolation is a challenge you now have the ideal opportunity to pick up a new skill.

When we can get back into Kelvin Hall these are some of the classes that await you.

Flying Trapeze

Flying Trapeze

If you love throwing yourself off 8 metre high platforms (in a harness) then Flying Trapeze is the one for you! So be sure to join us for some great sessions in one of the most recogniseable circus disciplines!

We run two open level Flying Trapeze classes (Thursdays 7.00pm & Saturdays 11.30am). We also run an intermediate class on a Saturday at 10.00am.

Flying Trapeze classes run seperatly to our Aerial and Acro Classes.

Aerial Classes

Aerial Classes

Whether you want to master the graceful art of silks, get to grips with some cool moves on Trapeze we have classes from beginners to intermediate/ advanced level in our static aerial classes including: Aerial Hoop, Trapeze, Silks and Straps.

You will be guided through the syllabus by our expert instructors with the added safety of spotting and crash mats. Our Aerial classes are limited to 9 students per class. Beginners classes are open to all, no experience neccesary.

These classes are for people aged 16+

Acro Classes

Acro Classes

If being in the air isn’t really your thing, we have a wide range of acro classes including: Acrobatics, Acrobalance, Trampoline and Handstands.

Acro classes work on skills and physical awareness that are also helpful in aerial arts giving you a good foundation for all other circus training.

These classes are for anyone aged 16 and over
